Sam Bhide is an Advanced practice Physiotherapist working for Kingston hospital (current). She works as an Advanced first contact practitioner and FCP supervisor in East Elmbridge primary care network. She qualified as Physiotherapist in 2006 and since then has worked in NHS and private practice in India as well as UK. She completed her Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2010, PG Dip Injection therapy (2016), Pg Dip Advanced practice in musculoskeletal medicine (2017) and independent prescribing (2022). She is diplomate member of Faculty of Sports and exercise medicine (FSEM). She is primary care champion for National axial spondyloarthropathy society (NASS) and has received a change maker award held in houses of parliament (2023). She is also Spokesperson for Chartered society of physiotherapy (CSP) and facilitates peer to peer support group for London First contact practitioners and recently got national commendation for her work for CSP (2023).She has completed multiprofessional educators’ course, first cohort run by Health education England (2023) (HEE). She is on executive committee- Primary care Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal medicine (PCRMM)- charity that organises education and webinars for primary care workforce. She has led and facilitated number of webinars as part of her primary care champion role for NASS and currently pursuing her Advanced practice digital badge through Centre of advancing practice. She is Owner and Clinical Director of Physiozen Ltd- Physiotherapy, fitnessand wellbeing business delivering physiotherapy, Pilates, steroid injections, prescriptions, social media patient education blogs & videos.
