Back Pain and Lifting: the Why, When and How of training the Deadlift.
'Don't bend you back' and 'Don't lift' are two of the most common suggestions associated with back pain. However, neither is based in current evidence nor helps patients going back to active jobs or sporting activities. In this session we will review why the deadlift is a useful, effective and safe tool in back pain rehabilitation and how to utilise it at any stage of back pain recovery.
