A unique insight from Kirsty Hopgood, a Graduate Sports Therapist who went from an ankle sprain in 2016 to a cancer patient in 2019. We talk about the initial assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, outcomes, and personal reflections following the diagnosis of an osteosarcoma in her fibula.
- Practitioners will increase their awareness of how cancer may present and reinforce their knowledge of red flag recognition. There are lessons to be learnt around being persistent while advocating for your patients.
