Sleep is fundamental to life and health, however problems with sleep duration and quality are increasingly common. Sleep disturbances can impact on many health domains including mental health and cognitive function. Increasing evidence shows the link between sleep and musculoskeletal health. In particular the impact of sleep on pain and injury. Dr Schaedel will update you on how sleep works, and the evidence we have on it's impact on musculoskeletal conditions as well as a some advice on what you (and your patients) can do to improve it.
