Southern Health NHS Trust was one of the first NHS Trust to employ BASRaT & SST members into roles that were previously MSK Physiotherapist. This new approach of competency based employment criteria has opened up the door to employing MSK Clinicians that have the necessary skills and knowledge to work within MSK settings. This has allowed a multi-disciplinary approach to MSK from a variety of backgrounds.
