The role of adaptable self-release tools for proprioception and autonomic regulation: fascia informed strategies for inter-treatment care
This session introduces fascia-informed strategies using adaptable self-release tools to support proprioception and autonomic regulation.
Participants will explore how breath-guided, tactile input can enhance interoceptive awareness, build somatic literacy, modulate pain response, and support the continuity and effectiveness of treatment. The focus is on low-tech, client-accessible applications that help sustain therapeutic benefits and foster self-agency beyond the clinic.
Grounded in current fascial research and clinical practice, this session offers a practical framework for integrating adaptable tools into therapeutic and movement-based settings.
Learning outcomes:
• Understand the role of adaptable tools and their interaction with fascia to influence proprioceptive and autonomic function.
• Learn practical applications to support inter-treatment care and client self-regulation.
• Explore how fascia-informed strategies can enhance client agency, perception, and therapeutic outcomes.
