Established in 1979, Vertec Scientific Ltd is unique in the UK, having been involved in the early days of Bone Densitometry. We were the first overseas distributor for Hologic and remain their oldest and most established distributor.

Over the years, Vertec has amassed a wealth of knowledge that has enabled us to maintain the leadership position amongst DXA suppliers within the UK. We are unique in employing 2 highly qualified applications specialists who, as well as training in the use, operation and interpretation of the results of the DXA system, are able to deliver IR(ME)R Operator training and certification.

We have installations with all the leading institutions in the UK, having 75% of the UK DXA market. Our Hologic DXA systems provide a comprehensive results report for both BMD and Body Composition essential in the growing elite Sports sector.
