CloserStill Media Reports: Therapy Expo returned to NEC Birmingham on 23-24 November 2022
Over 1,500 therapy professionals were gathered at the NEC Birmingham on 23-24 November to celebrate the return of Therapy Expo, the leading educational event for therapy professionals.
A wide range of therapy professionals, including physiotherapists, sports therapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, soft tissue therapists, massage therapists, neuro therapists and MSK Healthcare professionals attended the conference this year.
The extensive CPD certified conference programme featured four closed theatres, five open-air theatres and three interactive demo spaces, offering an array of stand-out sessions and practical takeaways. This year we saw the launch of Hands-on-Hub, Neuro Demo Zone, Business Advice Clinics alongside the returning favourites: Rocktape Movement Summit, Venn Innovations Shockwave Theatre, The STA Therapy Update Theatre and CPR Training Zone.
In addition to this, therapy expo also saw the introduction of the MSK Conference. The first collaborative conference between the three leading MSK organisations in the UK, MACP (Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists), SOMM (The Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine), and APPN (The Advanced Practice Physiotherapy Network), alongside the support of HEE (Health Education England) and ARMA (Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance).
Theatres were full and the audience were engaged, with delegates making the most of the opportunity to listen and pose questions to a line-up of over 100 expert speakers. The atmosphere at Therapy Expo was vibrant and buzzing, reflecting the joy of therapy professionals reuniting again, celebrating the much-awaited return of this leading collaborative event for the entire therapy community.
“It is a really good expo. We’re enjoying meeting our members and potential new members. It’s great to catch up with everyone because some of these people we’ve not seen since before covid, so this year is the first real year after covid.” – Jason, STA
“It’s been a real good B2B. Good quality of clients, lots of therapists that are looking to buy our products. It’s been a really good show.” – Stuart Highland, Highland Wax Company
“Great event, even better than the previous year, and I thought the inclusion of the Hands-on-hub was brilliant.” – Vernon Smeed, Pulseroll
“Having spoke to all my colleagues across the two days we all agreed that it was one of the best in person conference of the last two years.” – Anna Maria Mazzieri, The School
The next edition of the expo, Therapy Expo 2023, will return 22-23 November 2023 at the NEC Birmingham and attendees can book their tickets today by clicking here
