Alastair is a Sports Medicine and Musculoskeletal Physician as well as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine. He qualified in Medicine from the University of Sheffield in 2003.
Alastair is the Clinical Lead for the Bradford Royal Infirmary Minor Injury Unit and Musculoskeletal Service. He also developed and leads its Acute Musculoskeletal Clinic. He runs similar clinics at the Nuffield Hospital, Leeds and Yorkshire Clinic, Bradford.
Alastair is also heavily involved in the field of Sports and Exercise Medicine. He is currently Head of Medical Services for Leeds Rhinos Netball and provides medical services for the Rugby Football Union and Premiership Rugby.
His areas of clinical interest include; Musculoskeletal Medicine, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, Musculoskeletal Service Development, Sports and Exercise Medicine and Sports Concussion. He also holds the role of Director of Medicine for ecovery and has a keen interest in Musculoskeletal Education.
