Andrew is National Clinical Director for MSK services for NHS England. Collaborating with both MSK professional and patient stakeholders, and those with lived experience, he has taken a lead role with regard to the MSK response to the coronavirus pandemic, the evaluation of consequential beneficial changes and supporting vaccination in those with MSK conditions. He also went onto lead the Best MSK health pathway improvement programme. His current focus is recovery and transformation of MSK services across primary, community and secondary care, with a particular focus increasing health life expectancy, reducing ill-health related labour market inactivity and the integration of digital health technologies. He is also a Consultant Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with in Sutton Health and Care hosted by Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust providing clinical leadership for a community MSK service and managing a clinical case load of people with complex long term MSK conditions.
