David has over 20 years’ experience of working in professional football. During this time, he provided the treatment, rehabilitation and injury management for all players involved at this level, from mature professionals, to aspiring children. In 2004 he moved into a senior lecturing position within the School of Life and Medical Sciences at the University of Hertfordshire. He currently combines lecturing with rehabilitation and sports injury practice. David has extensive experience in the management of sports injuries that affect athletes at all levels. He has a keen interest in all aspects of sports medicine. In particular, he is well known for his specialist knowledge regarding the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of knee injuries and groin pain. In the ever-changing world of sports medicine, David has always endeavoured to be at the forefront of new developments. He takes great pleasure in using this knowledge to help his clients return to their chosen sport.
