Born in Wales and raised in the North West of England, Julie began her career as a mechanical engineer before transitioning to her true passion: health and well-being, completing a Sport Rehabilitation degree at the University of Salford. With over two decades in the industry, she has served as Head of Medical Services for Leicester Tigers, consulted for numerous elite sports organisations including British Ski and Snowboard and World Super Bikes, and now leads Function Jigsaw, bringing elite medical care to the public. A former junior international athlete for Wales, she is dedicated to sharing knowledge and also supports disabled athletes through the Richard Whitehead Foundation and is continuously learning in this ever-evolving field.
