Laura is a Specialist Neurological Occupational Therapist with 17 years of experience, over 14 years of which are in the neurological sector and has worked across multiple sectors including NHS and the private. She is the Lead Occupational Therapist for Hobbs Intensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Service and is the MiNT Academy Lead for Education. Having a split role between research, education and clinical allows Laura to bring a wealth of clinical expertise to the many projects she oversees. Laura is committed to upskilling staff and is passionate about raising therapists’ confidence in the clinical application of neurotechnology. Laura is an engaging speaker and has presented at RehabWeek 2021, 2022 in Rotterdam, and 2023 in Singapore. She has also given poster presentations at the OT show, WFNR in Vienna in 2022, and in RehabWeek in Singapore this year. As part of her role, she supports companies and universities with research projects, clinical consultancy days and education in the form of face to face university teaching and creating e learning packages to support clinical application of neurotechnology.
