Liz graduated from Manchester University in 1997 and has since gained extensive experience treating musculoskeletal injuries, from sports injuries and occupational health to rehabilitating service personnel in the British military. In 2012 Liz completed a masters degree in Ergonomics. Studying the science concerned with the interactions among humans and other elements of a system afforded a fresh perspective, and developed a deeper interest into the complexities of pain. This naturally led to a role working complex and long term pain conditions. Liz completed her non-medical prescribing course in 2022, and after a spell working in North London, returned to Connect to lead the pain management service in Hertfordshire.
