Lorcan McGee is a Chartered Physiotherapist with specialist expertise in sports performance, injury rehabilitation, and athlete health optimisation. Holding a Master of Science in both Physiotherapy and Sport and Exercise Medicine, Lorcan combines advanced clinical knowledge with extensive practical experience across multiple elite sporting environments. Throughout his career, Lorcan has worked with athletes and teams across England and Ireland in football, rugby, and dance medicine, providing high-performance physiotherapy support. Lorcan currently serves as a Physiotherapist with the Sports Institute of Northern Ireland, where he plays an integral role in supporting national and international athletes in their pursuit of excellence. His leadership in Irish Boxing has been particularly notable—he has served as the Lead Physiotherapist for the Irish Boxing team at the past two Olympic Games Lorcan’s professional interests bridge the fields of high-performance sport, innovation, and rehabilitation science.
