Thomas graduated in 2009 as a Sports Therapist, going on to undertake an MSc in S&C in 2010. Since graduating, Thomas has worked as a Sports Therapist at a number of professional and semi-professional clubs. Previous clubs include: West Bromwich Albion FC, Peterborough United FC, Rugby Lions and Coventry Bears RL. Thomas joined Coventry University as a lecturer in 2014 and has led the program since 2018. Thomas is also completing a PhD in Transplant Sport, while continuing to work as the Lead therapist at National League 2 Hinckley RFC.
