Lymphoedema management is changing. Over recent years we have a better understanding of its causes, development and how we can improve the situation for those living with this condition. This session will introduce you to lymphoedema, pathophysiology and management needs. It will outline the changes and developments in manual lymphatic drainage over recent years, with the use of lymphofluoroscopy imaging, allowing for us to see lymphatics moving for the first time in history. We will discuss treatment within the NHS and where you as a therapist can support the needs of patients in the future.
